Complete Beverage Services is based in Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It was established as a one stop shop solution for customers within the beverage industry.

They provide business with a complete range of beverage solutions across hot and cold drinks.


CBS are contracted by Coca Cola Ireland to install & maintain beverage machines over the 32 counties of Ireland.

The current system was manual and very laborious, engineers were simply emailed job info and had to schedule this manually as well as collect information manually.

There was extensive staff resources used to manually collate emails, create job reports, notify coca cola Ireland and update their own accounts system (Sage).

The request was to:

  • Build an iPad App for engineers
  • Push jobs automatically to engineers from CBS Edi system (sent by Coca Cola Ireland)
  • Allow engineers to complete job details on device:
    • attach images
    • grab customer signature
    • enter parts used
    • upload jobs
  • Receive job to automatically update SQL server.


A solution has been completed that provided

  1. An iPad app for engineers
  2. A server based management platform to collect job requests, push to device, receive form device and connect to 3rd party databases.

Malachy was able to quickly understand the business need and build and adapt the system to meet our requirements, delivering a system that meets all our needs and is easy and intuitive to use.

The delivery of an iPad app has been a “game changer” in many ways, some are just

  1. We now have full and live visibility of jobs, accepted, completed and uploaded with customer signatures
  2. Scan barcodes of parts
  3. Take photographs of positioned units as evidence of install
  4. Push live information back to coca Cola Ireland

This allows to fulfil the requirements of our suppliers to be able to provide live data, also it helped us scale our operation as the app reduces staff entry time.
Mistakes have also been eradicated which were easy to make on the manual system.
